Karin is a place in Northern Dalmatia stretching from the Karin Sea and the foot of the Bukovica hill to its very peak (Orljak, 537 m), between the Karisnica River and a stream which marks a border between the settlements of Kruševo and Karin.
The area between Karin Beach and Karin Donji has much potential for tourism development (small camps, tourist villages, family hotels with sports and recreational facilities, a spa). The overall tourist capacity currently accommodates app. 3000 beds.
Karin Curative Mud:
In our region there is a couple of kilometers long beach where in summer there are about 8000 people daily, and among them are those that have been coming for years to apply the curative mud found on the beach. Talking to them, I found out that the mud had helped them significantly in healing rheumatic diseases. Attractive also is the small Lučica cove with plants and terrain configuration that offer the possibility of developing commercial tourism.The area from Karin beach to Karin donji is interesting for the development
of individual tourist activities (small campsites, small tourist localities,
family hotels with sports and recreation facilities, health resort). The total
number of current tourist capacities is about 3000 beds.
