Mandre- a tourist resort located in the southern part of the island of Pag. Mandre offers a gorgeous view of Silba and Olib and of the little islands Maun and Skrda which abound in coves and beautiful beaches.
BeachesIn a small bay in the center of Mandre, protected from the wind is the Mala Mandre beach. Since 2006 it has been carrying the Blue Flag. The beach is exceptionally different and has a wide specter of content.
Along with the Mala Mandre beach in Mandre, the Kolan municipality is rich with various breathtaking beaches. The guests have sand beaches (Sv Duh, Cista. Prnjica), pebble beaches (Katarelac, Gajac, Girenica) or the stone-pebble beach in Mandre. All beaches are surrounded by crystal clear sea and well equipped.
Kolan mud:
The mud of Kolan is a marshy habitat distinguished by the riches and diversity of the bird world. It is preserved as an ornithological refuge because of its importance for the preservation of biologic diversity.
One hundred sixty three bird species, out of which 66 nest birds, have been noted in the mud of Kolan and surroundings. During the migration and wintering, different kinds of birds take refuge in reeds. Some of them habit on meadows nearby, and some of them on the island nearby.
