Dalmatia and Zadar
Dalmatia is Croatia's largest tourist region. Ninske Vodice (Zadar)
Ninske Vodice, a small place consisting of several private houses, lies 2 km from Nin in the direction of Sabunike. We recommend it for a quiet family holiday due to sandy beaches, dense evergreen underbrush, crystal clear sea and peace and quiet. If you are interested in cultural heritage, you can visit the old town of Nin nearby, while the surroundings of Ninske Vodice are great for evening walks and bike riding. Besides the beach in the place itself, there are several shallow sandy beaches far away from traffic, where waters are 2 to 3 degrees warmer than elsewhere. Climate
The climate in the costal part is Mediterranean (with dry and warm summer and wet and mild winter). With 260 sunny days per year the Adriatic coasts is one of the sunniest coasts on the Mediterranean and the sea temperature in the summer is from 25° C do 27° C.
History
Nin is the oldest Croatian royal town. An exceptional type of city-church complex, it is unique in the entire Mediterranean region. Small, isolated “places of worship” are witnesses of the oldest Croatian culture from the 9 th and 12 th centuries.
The small town of Nin is located in a shallow lagoon about 14 km away from the regional centre Zadar. The position as well as the history of this 500 m broad island are very interesting.
Legend about Queen's beach
The first Croatian king Tomislav came with his family to make vacation in the king's city of Nin after his crowning in the Duvanjsko field. He came to Nin very often because he was delightful by god's peace he could find only here. He was very happy after the ceremony and decided to stay longer there with his family. They were in Nin before but always for a short time. During her stay in Nin the queen always went to a sandy beach, in the vicinity of medical mud. The court ladies recommended her to put on medical mud because after that the skin is beautiful. This beach was for the queen the most favourable of all beaches in the country. As the king in these days after the crowning very happy war, he went with the queen to the beach and stayed there for the whole afternoon. The king war impressed by the beauties of his country: On one side the amazing island of Pag, behind it a massive Velebit mountain and they lieing on this wonderful beach. The king told his wife: «this place will be only yours when we come to Nin , here I will be with you at least one afternoon , this is paradise on the earth and this is your beach.» People who were with the queen have called it queen's beach since then and it was reserved just for the queen when she was there.

Apartment house Aenona – is located in the peacefull area of Ninske Vodice, only 500 m from the nearest sandy beach which is few km long in Nin Lagune. House is suranded with greenery from one side and other private summer houses from another side. The street is only one way which is ideal position for peaceful vacation far away from busy summer trafic. First shop is located only 50 m from the house, and it is special because it have a small bakery which provide tourist all the time with fresh bread and nice pastery , even people can order some home made cakes for special occasions or just for regular desert during their vacation. First restaurant is 500 m away, local small market 300 m, tourist office is in Nin as well as Pharmacy, Post office, Bank, ATM machine, dentist and Ambulance.
Nin old Royal town is 4 km away. Zadar beutifull historical town is 15 km away. Distanc to public transportation is 1000 met.
In near area is easy to find lots of sports acitivites like teniss, water sports, bike roads, horse riding, runing and football playing.
