The House of Vlatkovic is situated in the fisherman’s town of Novigrad, in a bay called “Novigradsko more” (the Sea of Novigrad) not far away from Zadar. The house itself was built back in 1813, and it was owned by a noble family Vlatkovic-Kontini. It has been completely restored over the past few years and is furnished with antique furniture and pictures. House for 8-10 persons: approx.200 m². On the ground floor there is a spacious konoba (tavern) which is also used as a storeroom, on the first floor a kitchen with a dishwasher, dining room for 10 persons, sleeping sofa, a spacious bath/toilet with two sinks and washing machine. On the first floor there are four double bedrooms, bath/toilet, living room with satellite TV and sleeping sofa for one person, terrace. In the front yard there is a further terrace with a barbecue grill; both terraces are equipped with parasols and a set of garden chairs. Distance to the sea approx. 100 m; to the beach approx. 1,500 m. It is possible to hire a cook to prepare regional specialities. On the hill above Novigrad stands the old fortress dating from 15th century. It's walls  form the foundation of the house of Vlatkovic.. The area is a perfect setting for both casual, family photos and art and professional photographers, due to its rich natural and authentic architectual landscape.
