Privlaka in written documents, first mentioned 1296.g. as a viticultural. Privlaka is situated on a large, flat sandy peninsula (7 km long and 4 km wide) to the northeast side closes the Nin Bay, south-west of Zadar channel. From Zadar is located 18 km from the historic and oldest Croatian town of Nin 5.5 km from Zaton holiday village has numerous sports and recreational facilities and only 8.5 km. Privlaka is situated on the peninsula west of Zadar, and the old center has a view of the island of Vir. Privlaka is an oasis of shallow and long sandy beach, away from heavy traffic and industry. Coast Privlaka is indented coastline forming headlands, bays, sunsets, islands and peninsula.
